Anti-Terrorist Operation: Summary for July 5, 2014

Information

ATO Progress

On July 5, cities of Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka were taken by security forces. Or, more precisely, even not taken but — and that is especially alarming — were left by terrorists. Breach by militants that happened on July 4 from encircled Slovyansk to Kramatorsk with further access to Donetsk and Luhansk may indicate either the decision to leave the territory of Ukraine (this is for the reader to decide who made this decision) or move to more densely populated cities (because it becomes very hard for militants to make pictures with victims among civilians in devastated Slovyansk). The first option is the most desirable but… Continue reading

Anti-Terrorist Operation

The day of July 4 was very efficient. Mykolaivka is finally taken by the ATO forces which led to a complete blockage of «Ho Chi Minh trail». The ATO forces thoroughly entrenched in the village. However, there are unresolved issues with search of suspects collaborating with separatists.

ANTI-TERRORIST OPERATION: SUMMARY FOR JULY, 03 2014

Information

Anti-Terrorist Operation

The 3rd July was eventful with engagements in many areas. Finally after heavy fighting over the last 2 days the Ukrainian forces entered Mykolaivka, Slovyansk Region. It is still early to talk about freeing of the village completely, but according to the news, as well as other indirect signs, the terrorist supply traffic to Slovyansk on the ‘Ho Chi Minh trail’ has finally been stopped (although there is the danger of it being re-opened). The Ukrainian successes have caused the separatists to panic, as evidenced by the reports of the Minister of Defence of DPR. Previously these reports sounded like a collection of science fiction short stories; currently they are like the hysterical yelling.

ANTI-TERRORIST OPERATION: SUMMARY FOR JULY 02, 2014

Information

The active phase of the Anti-Terrorist Operation is continuing, during which the Ukrainian military freed a number of territories from the terrorists.
Gunmen vainly are trying to destabilize the situation and influence the President of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION to bring Russian troops to Ukraine. Militants continue to carry out bloody provocations and spread rumours to the local population, playing on their weaknesses and fears. The reason is to create a picture of the «genocide of Russians in Ukraine», which gives Putin the excuse to rush to the assistance of the terrorists. Continue reading

ANTI-TERRORIST OPERATION: SUMMARY FOR JULE 01, 2014

Information

Today anti-terrorist operation has finally moved to the active phase of attack in all directions. According to various sources today terrorists have lost from 700 to 1000 people. The situation is changing very rapidly and our forces activelysuppress militants, this is why we do not see any reason to disclose attack directions because terrorists are now defensive. A positive tendency is how the ATO forces gain control over the parts of the Ukrainian border. Continue reading

Anti-Terrorist Operation: Summary for June 29, 2014

Militants continue to seize military units. Today military unit #3037 of internal troops in Donetsk and military unit A1402 (Donetsk anti-aircraft missile regiment) have fallen. Ammunition in the depot of the internal troops’ military unit blows up because of blasts arranged by servicemen in advance. Antiaircraft defense reportedly lost 9K77 Buk missile systems. However, this information requires confirmation because other sources report that the military unit did not have those missile systems.

Anti-Terrorist Operation: Summary for June 26, 2014

Information

Eastern Ukraine

Just like we suspected June 26 was the decisive day both for all those separatist republics and Ukrainian uniformed services. For several days we have been warning them about the accumulation of terrorist forces in the north, about the possibility of actions from their side for a couple of days.

What we have for today:

  • Terrorists continue to build up their forces in Slovyansk and Kramatorsk.
  • There were reports from Slovyansk about large-calibre howitzers near Mashchermet (factory in Slovyansk).
  • Self-propelled guns arrived to Kramatorsk last night.
  • Terrorists strengthen their defensive positions in these cities.
  • Terrorist activity is observed in the vicinity of Seversk, tanks arrived to the city.

On June 27 the ultimatum expires and therefore the militants had to strike and they did. In this direction we can predict further advance of terrorists towards Izyum and Kharkiv in the Lisichansk-Svatovo direction unless ATO forces do something unexpected.

As for the other areas: today there have been operations in the south of the region in Donetsk and Luhansk. Most likely the operations were diversionary because all major developments took place in Slovyansk. In recent days it was unexpectedly quiet, or, speaking more precisely, absolute information vacuum, in Rubezhnoye and Lisichansk and we view this fact very alarming.

Local residents reported very interesting facts about conscription in DPR: in Slovyansk terrorists check men’s documents and a reference from the place of employment. All who have no reference are mobilized to dig trenches, build barricades or sent to the vanguard as cannon fodder.

Recall the infant from Antracit killed on June 24 with a shell splinter into the heart. Terrorists tried to accuse Ukrainian military of this crime. However, they failed to put the blame on Ukrainian servicemen and the actions of the ubiquitous Right Sector because the local separatists themselves found the murderer of the child. The murderer was a local militaman living in Molodogvardeyskaya St. On the day of the tragedy he quarreled with his wife and then decided to go out and shoot to relieve his heart. As a result, a shot from the underbarrel grenade launcher killed the child. Apparently the murderer was dealt with by his “colleagues” because the same day Cossacks came to his house, arrested the troublemaker, told his family that they would send him to Perevalsk and then none saw him more.

Crimea

Today through our internal channels we confirmed yesterday’s information that Russian nuclear warheads are delivered and stored in the old Ukrainian storage of nuclear waste which is located opposite the Russian airfield in Gvardeyskoye (Simferopol).

Recall that the option of pre-emptive low-power nuclear attack was worked through at least twice by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the last month.

The Russian Federation

Russia continues to draw up forces towards the Ukrainian border: military equipment is standing in the wings near the border.

Russian special forces attempted to send out emails infected with viruses with remote service functions; the emails were sent from spoofed addresses in mvs.gov.ua domain zone. It should be stressed that MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) servers have not been hacked; only sender addresses were spoofed.
