May 15, 2015 · This volunteer-led, weekly drop-in program offers English language learners the opportunity to practice their conversational English in a relaxed, fun way. The 90-minute Conversation Circles attract between 8 and 30 participants per session and are staffed by up to 8 volunteers. We offer two programs each week: one for adults, the other for women and children. Teachers in California are in high demand, in general. This is especially true of teachers certified in ESL (English as a Second Language) as a primary content area, as well as those that add an additional ESL endorsement to their existing content area certification.
